Homer city manufactures a complete range of elevating equipment for industrial automation. Our Syntron® elevators provide economical solutions for parts feeding from bulk sources into automated processes and machines.
The belt elevator hopper design is advantageous in applications where product trends to bridge, preventing the parts from flowing readily from the throat of the supply hopper.
The belt elevator hopper offers an adjustable feed rate through its variable speed control and, with the addition of an optional flow switch, can operate intermittently.
Parts elevator units combine a hopper, vibratory trough feeder and inclined cleated belt to elevate parts to parts feeder or other processing points. The vibratory trough feeder assured controlled flow of parts from the hopper to the parts elevator. All hoppers are manufactured with an adjustable gate to control depth of parts in the trough. This assures that parts are properly located onto the belt cleats.
Orienting and Elevating Feeders are designed to handle a wide range of round, lightweight parts such as caps, lids and plastic discs. Homer City Automation's elevating feeders draw parts from a hopper via a cleated belt. Parts rest on these cleats and advance to a vertical elevator section where orientation occurs.
The SyntronŽ Hopper Elevator provides outstanding results in applications where parts must be stored, elevated and fed; particularly in situations where floor space is limited. The Hopper Elevator consists of ahopper, hoist, supporting framework and safety cage.
