Syntron® Hopper Elevator
The SyntronŽ Hopper Elevator provides outstanding results in applications where parts must be stored, elevated and fed; particularly in situations where floor space is limited.
The Hopper Elevator consists of a hopper, hoist, supporting framework and safety cage. Parts are loaded into the hopper in its "down" position. After the hopper is filled, and the hinged access door is closed, the operator pushes the "up" button and the hopper ascends to a pre-set discharge height.
Once the hopper reaches the discharge point, the hopper chute moves from a vertical position to a sloped discharge position. A vibrator, attached to the bottom of the hopper, produces vibration causing the parts to feed. This vibrator can be signaled from an external flow switch to run intermittently, vibrating the product only when desired.
Range of Hopper Elevator Capacities
Available in 3, 5, 7 or 10 cubic foot hopper capacities, this unit is furnished with either a half ton or one-ton hoist. The speed for both hoists is 16 feet per minute. Each unit has an adjustable discharge height to a maximum of eight feet and comes standard with a mounted control.
Designed for Safe Operation
For safety purposes, the Hopper Elevator is constructed with a safety cage that surrounds the elevator. A door interlock switch prevents the hopper from operating if the safety cage door is open. Likewise, a hopper interlock switch does not allow the operator to open the door unless the hopper is stationary in the "down" position. Also the "up" or "down" buttons must remain depressed while the hopper is going up or down. Releasing the button will cause the hopper to stop. This unit can be operated from either 230 or 460 volt, three phase AC power supply. Optional operating voltage from 115 volt, 60 cycle, single phase AC is available upon request.
